THE THINNING OF THE VEIL

Community Gathering

Samhain marks the turning of the wheel and is celebrated as the Witches’ New Year—a sacred time to honor our ancestors, the beloved dead, our guides, and the Mighty Dead. It is a time of reflection, remembrance, release, and looking toward the year ahead.

Join us for an evening of community, ritual, and connection as we prepare for the thinning of the veil.

Together, we will create sacred space and move through workings focused on Protection, Communion, Divination, and Farewell.

As part of our ritual, we will create one shared place setting for the spirits—a sacred seat at our table.

Bring a photo, memento, recipe, favorite food, or small offering connected to someone you would like to honor. We will arrange these around their place setting and create a temporary altar for their presence.

Then, we will share a silent Spirit Supper. Please bring an appetizer—homemade or store-bought—to contribute to our potluck. As we eat together, we will sit in silence, remember, observe, and listen. This is an opportunity to be receptive to memories, feelings, images, sensations, unexpected thoughts, or messages from our ancestors, guides, or the Mighty Dead.

Following the supper, we will turn our attention toward divination and the year ahead, reflecting on what wisdom may be waiting for us as we enter this new turn of the wheel.

We will close by thanking our visiting spirits, carrying their wisdom and memories forward, and releasing them with love.
